An Art Event Recreates Hokusai’s Time in Hiding in Uraga

A roaming art event themed around Katsushika Hokusai’s stay in hiding is set in the Uraga district of Yokosuka.
The event, titled ‘Katsushika Hokusai, Hiding in Uraga: An Immersive Gallery Around Town,’ takes place in the district where the ukiyo-e artist stayed for three years when he was in his seventies.
