Rika Hirata Receives Commendation for Promoting Japan-Hawaii Exchanges

Rika Hirata received a commendation from the Consul-General of Japan in Honolulu on 16 September.
Rika Hirata, a special ambassador for sister-city exchanges between Chigasaki City and the City and County of Honolulu, received the 2026 fiscal year head of overseas mission commendation. She was recognized for promoting exchanges between Japan and Hawaii.
