Civic Group to Help Older Residents by Holding Their Gift Cards and Shopping for Them

A civic group in Fujisawa will help older residents by holding their prepaid gift cards and shopping on their behalf.
As part of a living-support measure, Fujisawa City began distributing 5,000-yen prepaid-card-style gift vouchers to residents in April. The civic group aims to support older people who have been unable to go shopping or do not know how to use the cards.
