Typhoon No. 25 leaves Yokosuka and Miura farmers with sediment inflows and collapsed waterways, making recovery difficult

The torrential rain and landslides brought by Typhoon No. 25 caused catastrophic damage in parts of Yokosuka and Miura, one of the prefecture’s leading open-field vegetable-growing areas. In Yokosuka’s Hayashi district, a farmer manages about 2 hectares of farmland.
