Shonan NewsEnoshima beach cooperative to recycle beach-house food waste into renewable energy
江の島海水浴場組合 再エネに海の家の生ごみ 発酵技術で地域循環へ
The Enoshima Beach Cooperative started a project on 9 September at Katase Nishihama and Kugenuma bathing beaches to process food waste from ‘umi no ie’ beach huts. The cooperative is working with the company ‘J Bio Food Recycle’ to use fermentation technology to enable local recycling and contribute to renewable energy.
