Shonan News’Shonan Sri Lanka Friendship Club’ launched to deepen cultural ties
｢生きた架け橋に｣ 湘南スリランカ友好クラブが発足
Residents of the Shonan region with roots in Sri Lanka formed the ’Shonan Sri Lanka Friendship Club’ on 6 September at Takinosawa Citizen House. The club aims to deepen cultural exchange and mutual understanding between people of Sri Lankan heritage and local Japanese residents. The launch event included an opening gathering at the community facility and sets up the group to organize future cultural activities and exchanges.
