Passion on the Page

The city’s high school newspaper club is making notable progress. In July 2025, Keio Shonan Fujisawa High School’s paper received five awards out of 150 submissions in the 30th National High School Newspaper Annual Page Review. The achievement highlights strong reporting, layout, and editorial skills among students and raises the profile of the school’s journalism activities. Local educators said the success reflects dedicated mentoring and growing student interest in print media.
