Shonan News'Oogusu Banana' from Yokosuka debuts at Hayama Station
葉山ステーションに横須賀産｢おおぐすバナナ｣初登場 ”バナナ好き陶芸家”無農薬で育てた逸品
On 17 September, the Shopping Plaza HAYAMA STATION in Hayama began selling ‘Oogusu Banana’, the first appearance of the fruit at the tourist facility. The bananas were grown without pesticides by a local ceramicist who is known as a ‘banana-loving potter’ and markets the carefully tended produce under the name ‘Oogusu Banana’. Visitors to the plaza found the locally grown bananas offered alongside other regional products, highlighting a rare local specialty from Yokosuka.
