Miuragakuen art club member 'Takeyama' wins national prize at High School International Art Exhibition

Miuragakuen High School art club member Takeyama Natsuki, a second-year student from Kurihama, won the National High School Art and Craft Education Research Association Prize at the 27th High School International Art Exhibition for her piece ‘怠惰な王様’ (‘The Lazy King’). The work draws on the fairy tale ‘か…’ and reflects themes that Takeyama has explored while continuing to paint; the award recognizes her sustained effort and achievement. The school and community celebrated the honor, noting it as a significant accomplishment for a local high school artist.
