Hiratsuka Art Museum to open Kaunas sister-city exhibition, including Japan-first works

The Hiratsuka City Museum of Art in Nishi-Yawata will hold the exhibition ‘Švėgždūna and the Painters of Shonan’ from 26 September to 23 November. The show commemorates the third anniversary of the Hiratsuka–Kaunas sister-city partnership and features works by the Kaunas artist ‘Švėgždūna’ alongside Shonan painters, including pieces being shown in Japan for the first time.
