Heatstroke hospitalizations total 103 in one city and three towns; Hiratsuka down by 18

Local fire departments reported that as of 31 August, a total of 103 people were transported for heatstroke from Hiratsuka City and the towns of Oiso, Ninomiya and Nakai, which is nine fewer than the same time last year. Hiratsuka City accounted for an 18-person decrease in transports compared with the previous year. The figures come from aggregated reports by the respective municipal fire headquarters covering emergency transports for heat-related illness.
