Shonan News'Fujisawa Citizen Festival' Opens Next Weekend with Pride and Attachment

The ‘Fujisawa Citizen Festival’ will be held on 26 September and 27 September across the Fujisawa Area near Fujisawa Station and the Endo-Goshomi Area around Akibadai Cultural Gymnasium and nearby parks. The festival, first held in 1974, is marking its 51st edition and is described as one of the city’s largest events. Organizers say the festival aims to foster pride and attachment to the city through performances, stalls, and community activities spread across multiple venues.
