Zushi-Hayama Junior Chamber and Local Social Welfare Councils Sign Disaster Cooperation Agreement

The Zushi-Hayama Junior Chamber (chairperson Yabe Sari) and the social welfare councils of Zushi City and Hayama Town concluded an agreement on September 14 to bolster cooperation during disasters. The pact clarifies mutual support for operating Disaster Volunteer Centers and coordinating volunteer activities. Yabe said the agreement aims to improve rapid response and recovery by leveraging the chamber’s organizational capacity alongside the councils’ welfare expertise. The partners plan ongoing drills and information-sharing to ensure effective joint action when disasters occur.
