Hiratsuka Neighborhood Association Series: Passing Down Asahi Minami History to Children, Vol.17 — Asahi Minami District Chair Shigejiro Sawano

The Asahi Minami federation represents 10 local neighborhood associations, and chair 澤野重次郎 is working to revive the “Asahi District ruins tour” so children can experience local history firsthand. The event has been on hold since the Asahi Minami District Education Promotion Association dissolved four years ago, which forced organizers to postpone the tours. Chair 澤野 is coordinating with community groups to bring the program back once conditions and volunteer support allow.
