Hiratsuka City to Equip All Ambulance Teams with Automated Chest Compression Devices

Hiratsuka City submitted a supplementary budget of ¥33,897,400 to the regular city council meeting that opened on August 25, which includes ¥35,537,000 to purchase automated chest compression devices for all its emergency teams. The city fire department said the devices will be deployed across all ambulance crews to standardize cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality and reduce physical burden on personnel. The measure is part of the city’s broader efforts to strengthen emergency medical response.
