Yokosuka City Introduces AI English-Learning App to All Public Junior High Schools

Yokosuka City started on September 1 to introduce an AI-powered English learning application across every public junior high school in the city, the first such citywide rollout in Kanagawa Prefecture. The initiative is intended to help students overcome weaknesses in speaking and writing by using AI features tailored to language practice. City officials say the uniform adoption aims to raise overall English proficiency and support classroom instruction, while training and technical support will accompany the rollout.
