Shonan NewsSuzuki Kai, 31, to Hold First Enoshima Taiko Festival

Suzuki Kai is the representative of Shonan Taiko Kenkyukai Eno and lives in Katase. He is organizing the inaugural Enoshima Taiko Festival to connect community and spirit and to revive local energy. The event will include participation from Fukushima prefecture towns affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, such as Okuma and Namie, and from the sister city Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture. Suzuki hopes the festival will strengthen ties between the city and its people through taiko drumming.
