Nozomi Yasui, 34, Wins Career Design Award at Kanagawa Comprehensive Learning AWARD 2026

Nozomi Yasui, 34, from Miharucho in Yokosuka City, received the Career Design Award at the かながわ総合学習AWARD2026 for a community learning project. Her program, titled “会いに行ける推し,” invited elementary school students to the local shopping street to conduct interviews and participate in job-experience activities, helping them discover shopkeepers’ personalities and strengthen local human connections. The project aimed to build warm, active ties between children and neighborhood businesses through direct interaction and storytelling. The initiative began from a local impetus to connect residents and support the vitality of the shopping district.
