Samukawa Shrine holds annual Reitaisai festival with gratitude and prayers for prosperity
寒川神社 感謝と繁栄祈念し例祭 19日・20日 流鏑馬や奉納行事
Samukawa Shrine held its most important annual festival, the Reitaisai, over two days on September 19 and 20 to give thanks for the divine favor of Samukawa Daimyojin and to pray for continued prosperity. Events on the 19th included a 13:00 ritual service and mounted archery (yabusame), while the 20th featured additional dedication ceremonies and public offerings. Both days drew visitors to observe traditional Shinto rituals and performances honoring the shrine’s deities.
