Ramen shop 'Kaidoya' opens in front of Fujisawa Station, owner inherits specialty from bar proprietor

A restaurant called ‘街道や・南藤沢店’ (Kaidoya Minami-Fujisawa), located at 藤沢市鵠沼橘1 with telephone 0466-96-2212, opened near the south exit of Fujisawa Station. The shop marks a nod to a local specialty whose recipe and name were passed on through a noren-wake, a traditional practice of splitting a shop’s brand, from the owner of a bar. According to 湘南経済新聞, the restaurant reached its two-month anniversary on September 9.
