神輿渡御に流鏑馬神事も ９月14日〜16日は鶴岡八幡宮で例大祭
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu will stage its annual Reitaisai over three days, September 14 (Monday) through September 16 (Wednesday). The program includes traditional events such as a mikoshi (portable shrine) procession and yabusame mounted archery ritual. According to the historical chronicle Azuma Kagami, the shrine’s Reitaisai began in 1187 and has continued since, with the festival maintaining its long-standing customs.
