Yukio Yokoyama, 60, a resident of Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, took up the post of chief of the Fujisawa Tax Office on July 10. He now leads one of the prefecture’s largest tax offices, which covers Fujisawa, Chigasaki and Samukawa. Yokoyama describes his affection for the area and its people, recalling childhood memories of Enoshima and expressing a warm, local pride.
