Shonan NewsOguri's Resolve Portrayed on Stage in Musical "Heir to the Iron Will"
小栗の志、舞台で表現 ミュージカル「鉄の意志を継ぐ者」
The musical “Heir to the Iron Will” portrays the life and ideals of Oguri Uenosuke Tadanori, a Bakumatsu-era retainer who oversaw construction of the Yokosuka Iron Works and helped drive Japan’s modernization. Performances began on October 10 and continue on subsequent dates. The production explores Oguri’s leadership and commitment during a turbulent period of industrial and political change.
