Ryuosuke Kubotsuka (RUEED) Plants Seeds for the Future

Ryuosuke Kubotsuka, who rose from the underground reggae scene to gain attention as an actor in his mid-20s, is now showing multiple talents as a performer and organizer. He is hosting a reggae festival and backing a film called ‘スカブロ’ that brands both cast and production as ‘All Yokosuka.’ The project aims to nurture local culture and give opportunities to emerging artists until their work ‘buds’ and grows. Kubotsuka describes the effort as ‘sowing seeds for the future’ and focuses on grassroots support within the community.
