Neighborhood Radio Links Past, Present and Future in Ōkusu

The program, formally titled “大楠口伝鈔（くでんしょう）〜まちのみんながでるラジオ〜,” began in April 2026 in the coastal and mountain-surrounded Ōkusu area of Yokosuka City. It features local residents and aims to document community memories, everyday life and local knowledge while connecting older and younger generations. Produced on a small scale, the show is intended to strengthen neighborhood ties and preserve local stories for the future.
