Tetsuya Kitada, 72, the creator of the character “P-chan” from the children’s program “Ponkikkies,” is holding an exhibition of his illustrations at Shonan Fujisawa Tokushukai Hospital. Kitada, known for his cheerful, colorful art, said being surrounded by his works in the hospital setting feels “like a dream.” The exhibit is taking place in the hospital, allowing patients, staff, and visitors to view his pieces in a medical environment.
