Archaeology Lecture Explains Many Mysteries of Sea Erosion Cave Ruins

The citizen group Koajiro no Mori Club, which conducts activities enjoying Koajiro’s forest and tidal flats, held an archaeology lecture on September 17 in Miura City. The lecture focused on the numerous sea-erosion cave ruin sites found along the city’s coast and aimed to explain the many unresolved questions surrounding those sites. Participants learned about the archaeology and significance of the coastal caves and discussed their preservation and interpretation.
