About 200 bell crickets released near Jinko-ji temple to bring autumn sounds

Approximately 200 suzumushi, or bell crickets, were released around Jinko-ji temple on the 30th to revive a familiar autumn soundscape. The release was organized by the Kawana Neighborhood Association, using Muraoka Civic Center as its base, and is the sixth effort aimed at establishing a self-sustaining population.
