Yokosuka Silver Human Resources Center to Manage Vacant Homes on Owners' Behalf under City Contract

The public interest incorporated association Yokosuka City Silver Human Resources Center, which provides work and social participation opportunities for residents aged 60 and over, has been designated by Yokosuka City to assist in promoting proper management and reuse of vacant houses. Under a city commission, the center will act on behalf of property owners to carry out management tasks and support reuse efforts. The move is intended to address problems caused by abandoned or poorly maintained vacant homes while creating work opportunities for older residents.
