Rescue dog team deployed to Kumamoto earthquake site by RDTA

The nonprofit Rescue Dog Trainers Association (RDTA), based in Kuzuhara and headed by director Hidehiro Murase, sent its rescue dog team to areas affected by the Kumamoto earthquake that occurred on August 28. The team carried out search activities in the disaster zone. RDTA emphasizes maintaining readiness during peacetime for seismic intensity 5 incidents and other emergencies to enable rapid deployment.
