Myohonji Temple Special Display and Service on September 12

Myohonji Temple will hold its annual Ryuko Honnanei observance, marking the martyrdom of Nichiren, with a rare public showing of the temple’s wooden statue of Nichiren. The event runs from 10:00 to 15:00 in the temple’s Soshi-do at 1-15-1 Omachi, Kamakura City. Prayer services are available for a suggested offering of 3,000 yen.
