茅ケ崎警察署管内 特殊詐欺被害が多発 「手口の増加や巧妙化が起因」
The Chigasaki Police District reports a sudden increase in special fraud incidents beginning in July. From January through June this year the district recorded 29 cases with losses of about ¥280,000,000, but there were 10 cases in July alone. Police attribute the rise to an increase in the number and sophistication of criminal methods and are warning residents to be vigilant.
