Shonan NewsYouth Organization Rallies Funds for Kumamoto Quake Victims
平塚からもいち早く 青年団体が熊本地震被災地へ募金
The Hiratsuka Junior Chamber conducted street fundraising at Hiratsuka Station North Exit on July 30, August 1 and August 5 to support recovery from the Kumamoto earthquake. About 10 members joined local high school students in soliciting donations, collecting a total of 39,8479 yen. The group described the contributions as voluntary relief funds for disaster recovery efforts in Kumamoto.
