横須賀市出身 須山さん 「公募」で人生豊かに 受賞700回越え

Emi Suyama has won awards in public-entry contests held by companies and local governments in every one of Japan’s 47 prefectures, a feat she calls “national domination.” At age 35 she has collected more than 700 awards across genres including essays, senryu, and catchphrases. Suyama says participating in open calls has enriched her life and broadened her activities, and she intends to continue entering contests while aiming for further recognition.
