藤沢の想いを神奈川へ㉙ 「防災の日」に地域と家庭の備えをもう一度 神奈川県議会議員 市川かずひろ

Kazuhiro Ichikawa recalls the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, which included repeated magnitude-7 shocks, caused 276 deaths including disaster-related fatalities, and left over 8,600 houses completely destroyed. He warned that disasters do not wait and emphasized the need for each household to reassess emergency supplies, evacuation plans, and communications. Ichikawa also called on local governments and communities in Kanagawa to strengthen evacuation centers, information sharing, and support systems for vulnerable people. He stressed that preparing now reduces future loss of life and property when the next large disaster strikes.
