Kamakura FM Broadcasting (82.8 MHz) hosted the parent-child summer event ‘Shigototen’ from August 21 to 23 at various locations around Kamakura City. Children took part in hands-on job experiences designed to teach practical skills and community roles. Organizers said the program helped participants understand the daily hardships faced by elderly people. The event aimed to foster community awareness and intergenerational empathy among young participants.
