Chigasaki Construction Industry Association Deploys for Emergency Response at the Request of Local Government

The Chigasaki Construction Industry Association, led by Chairman Junichi Kato and made up of 31 construction firms based in Chigasaki City and Samukawa Town, has an agreement with municipalities to carry out emergency tasks during disasters such as wind and water damage and snow-ice damage. Under requests from administrations including Chigasaki City, member companies dispatch personnel and equipment for urgent repairs, debris removal, and other temporary measures to protect public safety and infrastructure. The association said its rapid response helps reduce disruption and supports municipal disaster management until longer-term repairs can be arranged.
