Chigasaki City is running a program to install furniture anti-tip fittings for households where quick evacuation during an earthquake would be difficult. Eligible households include those with people aged 65 or older, children aged 12 or younger, or residents with disabilities. The city arranges installation of fittings and related work to improve safety inside homes.
