Sake Made with Indigo Grown in Fujisawa to Be Marketed This Year

Brewing of sake using indigo produced in Fujisawa is currently underway. Universe Frontier Co., headquartered in Hongu-Kugenuma and active in real estate and consulting, is partnering with a long-established shochu maker from Kagoshima to develop the product. The collaboration aims to commercialize the indigo-infused sake within the year, highlighting regional cooperation between Fujisawa producers and outside distillers. Further details about production methods and release timing are being coordinated by the partners.
