Nine 8-meter Doll Floats Parade at Kōtai Jingū Grand Festival
9基の人形山車 勢ぞろい 皇大神宮で例大祭斎行
Kōtai Jingū, also known affectionately as Karasumori Shrine and founded in 832, held its customary Reitaisai on the 17th. The shrine’s famous doll floats, some about 8 meters tall, appeared in a lineup of nine, entertaining visitors who came to watch the procession. The event is a long-standing local tradition that draws residents and festivalgoers to the historic shrine.
