Fujisawa launches crowdfunding for Akibadai Park turf renovation

Fujisawa City announced on August 7 the start of a hometown tax crowdfunding project called “シン・ジンシバ” to fund replacement of the artificial turf at Akibadai Park Ball Field in Endo. The project’s fundraising goal is 10,000,000 yen to cover renovation costs and improve player safety. The city expects the renewed turf to reduce injury risk and provide a safer playing surface for community sports.
