First nighttime dare game held at Koitodai Park in Oba district

Koitodai Park, long warned about locally as a place to avoid at night because it is dark and scary, hosted its first ever kimodameshi or dare-testing event on the 30th (Sunday). The event was organized by the general incorporated association 湘… which operates in the Oba district and aimed to transform local whispers about shadows and fear into a community experience. Participants walked the park after dark, experiencing staged spooks and listening for eerie sounds as part of the traditional test of courage.
