Shonan NewsSky Lantern Evening at Heiwa Chuo Park
平和中央公園 灯りに想いを乗せて ランタン打ち上げイベント
Participants will write messages on lanterns and release them into the sky at the event called “Sky Lantern Evening” on September 12 at Heiwa Chuo Park (横須賀市深田台19). The park is managed by Yokosuka (よこすか…), which is organizing the gathering. Attendees are invited to send thoughts or wishes skyward using the lanterns as a communal symbolic act.
