Ota Honami, a sixth-grade student at Chigasaki Municipal Midorigahama Elementary, was chosen for the Kanagawa girls’ youth baseball select team “YAMAYURI.” The YAMAYURI team will compete in the national “NPB Girls” tournament held in Shiga Prefecture beginning August 21. The selection recognizes Ota’s skill and gives her the opportunity to represent Kanagawa on the national stage.
