High School Students Organize Exchange Event to Connect with the World at Beach House

A student-run group called Shonan Youth Base, formed by high school volunteers in Fujisawa, is creating a new place where young people with foreign roots can meet and interact. They planned an event at a beach house where children take the lead in activities, aiming to encourage conversation and mutual understanding across different cultural backgrounds. The organizers hope the project will give participants a sense of belonging and expand opportunities for local multicultural exchange.
