Yoneda Aiming for Junior Olympics Summit

Yoneda Haruka, a sixth grader living in Kamakura, belongs to an artistic swimming team that advanced through the Kanto tournament held last month and qualified for the 49th National JOC Junior Olympic Cup summer swimming event. Yoneda said she hopes to perform routines she has practiced many times and aims to reach the top at the national level. Her coach praised the team’s synchronized technique and growth over the season, and they will continue training intensively ahead of the national competition.
