Two Teenagers Win Medals at World Youth Climbing Championships

The 2026 World Climbing Youth Championships were held July 20–25 in Lualù, Italy. Rusei Hamada and Kokoro Nakata, members of the Fujisawa Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Association, each won medals in their categories. The association, chaired by Akikazu Higashi, celebrated the achievements of the two teenagers, noting their strong performances against international competitors.
