Two Fujita Kindergarten Teachers Join Training at South Korean Kindergarten

Hiratsuka Futaba Kindergarten in Mitsuke Town sent teachers Momoe Nagatsuka, age 27, and Aika Ishida, age 23, to a training session at the Bomok Church kindergarten in South Korea on July 30. The program focused on understanding practices from the children’s perspective; Nagatsuka reported learning new approaches to observing and supporting children, while Ishida said she gained ideas for activities and communication with parents. Both teachers plan to adapt what they learned to improve childcare and classroom interactions back at Futaba Kindergarten.
