Isamu Nishimoto, 74, moved from Hiroshima to Chigasaki five years ago to pursue art

Isamu Nishimoto moved from Hiroshima to Chigasaki in October 2021 and continues cross-genre art activities while living in Chigasaki’s Serizawa area.
Isamu Nishimoto, whose legal name is Isamu Nishimoto, relocated from Hiroshima to Chigasaki in October 2021 and now lives in the Serizawa district of Chigasaki City. The 74-year-old practices a range of artistic disciplines including painting and ceramics and seeks connections through art. In June he took part in activities at Gallery Kino, a café where artists gather, as part of his ongoing efforts to engage the local arts community.
