Yokosuka Holds Send-Off for Middle School Athletes Heading to National and Kanto Tournaments

A rally to support middle school athletes from Yokosuka who will compete in national and Kanto competitions was held on August 4, hosted by the Yokosuka Board of Education and others. About 40 students across six events gathered in the main hall of Yokosuka City Hall for the ceremony. Officials and organizers offered encouragement to the athletes ahead of their tournaments. The event aimed to recognize the students’ achievements and boost their morale before competition.
